This workshop is stand alone; it can be taken outside of the full course, and at any time.
It is divided into two parts:
Part 1: Hosting Guests
Part 2: Being a Guest
The workshop consists of 4 modules:
Module One: Introduction
What is included and what to expect.
Module Two: hosting guests
How and why to host others on your blog. The outcome of this module is to complete your own submissions guidelines.
Module Three: Being a Guest
How to find places to pitch your guest blog ideas. Including links to lists. The outcome of this module is to start your own database of contacts to pitch to.
Module Four: Wrap up
Conclusion. Join the Facebook group and an opportunity to pitch a guest blog.
If you are new to blogging, I recommend completing more of the course before pitching to others. You will need to feel confident in your own writing capability before making any promises to anyone else, and they will want to see what you’ve written in the past to get an idea of your style and skill as a writer.
This workshop is for you if you already have some blog presence and want to build your network to increase the reach of your content.
