This workshop is stand alone; it can be taken outside of the full course, and at any time.
The workshop consists of 6 modules:
Module One: Introduction
What is included and what to expect.
Module Two: Market Research Principles
Touching on the importance of quality research to target your content and add value with your knowledge.
The outcome of this module is to capture some practical questions to answer to boost your blog. There is also a quick quiz.
Module Three: Setting Up Pinterest
Why is Pinterest such a valuable tool for research and how does it work? Download the 'Power of Pinterest' factsheet.
The outcome of this module is to get set up on Pinterest, or to update your profile and create three research boards.
Module Four: Populating Your Boards
Now that you have an account let's start filling your boards with useful content!
The outcome of this module is to understand how to capture and catalogue information and set up tools to do this.
Module Five: Going Public
Once you have some boards and a complete profile you can go public.
The outcome of this module is to go live and create a brand presence.
Module Six: Wrap Up
Conclusion. Join the Facebook group. Share your Pinterest boards and follow other useful boards from the Alumni Community of fellow business bloggers! There's is also a final quiz to complete.
If you are new to blogging, I recommend completing at least the first two core modules in the full course before this one.
If you already have some blogs published, this workshop will be a useful way to plan your content more effectively and draw on research sources to create better content.

If you are new to Pinterest, this workshop will help you get started.
This workshop is for you if you already have some blog presence for your business
and want be more organised and strategic in your approach to creating great content.
The instructions to set up an account are based on accessing Pinterest through their website, rather than on an app. I recommend doing this workshop on a laptop/PC rather than a phone, as my instructions are based on how the platform appears on that hardware (it's not essential, but it may be easier!)
